6.5 swede claims another victim

well if i can figure how to get pics to post on here ill put some up but just took my first elk today, and its so satisfying to have built the rifle and loaded the ammo used on it like the title i used a 6.5 swede with 130 accubonds even got the bullet back in the opposite shoulder with 98 grs left. hopefully i can get these pics to load up on here for all to see.

Its a vz24 action with a adams and bennet 21in barrel with a lyman 57 smet peep sight

Good choice of bullet. I shot a large bull two years ago with a 6.5x55 loaded with a 140 Accubond. Found the bullet on the opposite side under the hide. Good weight retention.

Nonsense. Don't you know even a 180 gr. fired from a 30-06 will bounce right off a modern-day elk?
