I just picked up 2 boxes of this ammo locally. Anyone know if 1) its corrosive (I'm guessing not) date code is 1970 FWIW

2) is it boxer or berdan primed?

thanks. here's whats on the box:

20 st
6,5 mm sk ptr m/94
prj m/41
Prickskytte

It's non-corrosive, berdan primed. The bullet is lead core, nickeled steel jacket, which is apparently the standard Swedish military load. J&G sales has a bunch in stock. I picked some up at a gun show recently, and shot a box of it through my M38. It looked just awful, with tarnish and what looked like rust stains all over it, but it shot fine.

Thanks fo the info.
Yeah, mine has afair bit of tarnish/corrosion on the surace, but so 0000 steel wool took it right off easily, and you can see it was just on the surface, so it should be fine.I hear its pretty good ammo, accuracy wise, so we'll see.

I was really hopeing it was boxer primed, but thought I had seen somewhere that its berdan. Oh well,I'll just have to buy some good brass to reload or see what he has that is boxer. I know he had some boxes of Norma, but it looked kinda pricey....

Thanks again

Oh, I almost forgot, is it 139g or 143gr bullets? I have see it listed as both doing some googleing.
