Just got some of the RIMZ 610 clips and they are even better then I could have hoped! I tried some of the RIMZ 625 and thought they were great but these are even better! They are of a stiffer material and will hang from the front of my moon clip holders by two rounds! I have once again fallen in love with my 610!
Has anyone else tried them yet, would love to hear from you!

The only thing keeping me from trying the Rimz 610 moonclips is that I have a freezer baggie full of steel 10mm moonclips and a great de-mooner tool. :uhoh:

Thanks for the post! Since your win at the "South Mountain Showdown" last October you have been unbeaten in IDPA competition.

We started shipping out the new RIMZ 610 clips last month. If anyone would like a sample to try, they can contact me through our web site www.beckhamdesign.com and provide me with your contact information. A sample will be sent via US mail.

I recieved my RIMZ Moonclips the other day and im pretty impressed by them. I have not had the time to try them yet, maybe this weekend. They seem very durable. Im sure they will work fine, what will the price be for future orders on these?

Our list price on the RIMZ 610 clips is 5 clips for $6.00. A special offer for forum members is 20 RIMZ 610 clips (4 packages) for $20.00 + $2.00 for S&H. Offer expires the end of January 2004.

We are feverishly working to have the RIMZ 25 speedloader (will fit the 1917 45 ACP revolvers, the Model 25 and the early model 625's) available in Mid February, 2004. Just in time for Valentine's day! ;)

We do not know if we will have the Model 25 clip available for the SHOT SHOW, but we will have samples of the 610 and 625 clips at the show.

How about some 9mm clips for the S&W 940. Then I can just place one order instead of two.

Big Daddy:

Believe me, we would love to make clips for all the revolvers. However, the dilema is that not all the moon clipped revolvers are available to me here in California. For example, the 646 .40 cal is not on the California approved list. In order to develop the 646 clip, we need the gun and current clips for approximately 60 days for measurement, testing, prototyping and final development. Once these items are taken care of, we then send samples out to users for evaluation prior to release to the public. Since the manufacturer of the firearms are not too keen on releasing proprietary information, we sometimes have to give it our best guess.

Making items for firearms that are already here is not too difficult. Making items for guns that are from a limited production run or have not been produced for a number of years, that is a challenge!

Hey there scott, it's Bryan from up in Bakersfield.

Got the 2 sample clips today in the mail and am pretty impressed. Taking out my 25-3 and dropping a loaded clip into it showed me where the material needed to be shaved so the clips are pretty much ready for when I take delivery of my 25-2 on Monday.

Thx again. I'll likely be one of your first orders for the new clips meant for the 25 when you've got them ready next month :)

Scott:

What booth are you going to be in at the SHOT Show?

On developing clips for guns not yet approved in California: The gun makers might be able to provide you with a cylinder assembly which would at least get you started. Prototype testing could then go forward in some other state.

Yes, I will be there. My office number will be forwarded to my cell phone while in Las Vegas. I would like to meet you there.

I will not stationed at any particular booth at this time. My Marketing Director and I will be visiting the various booths this year.
