629 version 2 and 305 laser cast bullets

I purchased 500 laser cast 300 gr bullets about 35 years ago. Shot about 10 with 296 powder. Probably not a good decision. But it shot good. Now I would like to load them to a pressure that my 629-2 will like.

what pressure should I keep my 629-2 under?

1. Can I do this with the laser cast 300 bullet? .431 diameter
2. Powder? 2400, 296 (don’t think so), 700x, 231 (too fast)
3. How about cfe pistol..I could use it in my 9mm PCC but need to buy it.
4. Or donate to someone else.

Don’t need max loads. Just something to shoot at paper and use up my laser cast.
Hardness is15.

Hodgdon lists 9.0-10.3 with a 325 grain cast for 231 and that’s what I would use of the options you have on hand.

I would have no reservations using W296. 2400 would be ideal for me, and Universal or W231 for Cat Sneezes.
