As of yet, I do not own any true IWB holsters. So far I have used cheapo nylon right-handed OWB holsters, but carried them IWB style so the belt clip was on the outside. I carry at 6oclock with the butt of the pistol facing my right. So the same holster can be worn both at 3oclock OWB, and 6oclock IWB and drawn with the right hand.
When I look online for IWB holsters, it seems that most of them, if they were carried at 6oclock, the butt would be facing left, and thus be very difficult to draw with that right hand. So when ordering, I'm not sure which model to order. Because what hand I would use to draw it would be dependent on where in my waist band I carry. If it were at 3oclock IWB, the butt would be facing forward, like a left-handed cross draw.
So I guess the simple question is, on a true right-hand IWB holster, like a nice leather one, if worn at 6oclock IWB, would the butt of the gun face right or left?

If that were worn at 6oclock, the butt would be facing left, which is the opposite of what I want.
