Hi I have a old 7.52 cal rifle a bolt action. There are no manufacture marking on it only cal 7.52 and the serial # it looks very much like the spainish mauser. I could use any help I can get thanks Jack

Most likely a Spanish 1916 Model 3 that was used by the Guardia Civil.
They were 7mm and then converted by the govenment to 7.62x51 NATO.

It may look like it says 7.52 but it was just a bad stamp job.
Which seems to be pretty common.
Maybe they had a broken #6 metal stamp for awhile?

I can assure you there is no such thing as 7.52 Spanish ammo.
It is 7.62 NATO.

Here is a good thread on them:

its a 1916 mine looks like it say .52 as well but if you look closely u see a poorly pressed 6. AS far as being chambered in 7.62 nato or 7.62 cetme that is hotly debated.
