Just curios.. What are these cases?

A friend who knows I reload, does clean outs and found these in a house that he was working on.
The first pic is of the headstamps. the one on the right is hard to see the only thing I can make out looks like 7.52 it is coated in some green stuff and when I scratched some off it looks like aluminum.
The one on the left is easy to see. In the second pic I threw in a .357 to compare size. Any help? Thanks Rick

Thanks jcwit for the quick reply but these are different.

The one on the left measures .280 at the case mouth, and 1.442 case length.
On the right .310 and 1.515 these are two different cartridges. Rick

Looks like 6mm Bench Rest Remington and 7.62x39.

Probably reformed to a different/custome cartridge.

I agree the one on the right looks like a steel 7.62 x 39.
