Greetings,
I am relaoding 7.62NATO (308Winchester) 150gr FMJ PRVI bullets with Ramshot TAC into Winchester 308 cases.
I am reloading for my Enfield Ishapore 2A that I never shot before.
Ramshot manual has those 2 loads:
HDY SP 41.9-46.5 max PSI 57,500
SIE HPBT 42.3-47 max PSI 58,900
I know 7.62NATO is 50k PSI. And I know (from here) a bunch of guys shoot commercial 308Winchester in their Ishy.
Does it make sense to begin with a starting load of 42.5 grains and work it up or should I start with a lower charge?
Thank you
