Want to load some 130 gr SIE SP for .308 Win. Ramshot has load data for the 125 and 150 gr bullets. From their website: Barrel:24",Twist1-10" Primer:FED210
TAC 125 NOS B-TIP 44.4 2,840 49.3 3,177 56,110 2.780
TAC 150 HDY SP 41.9 2,598 46.5 2,887 57,500 2.720
TAC 150 SIE HPBT 42.3 2,613 47.0 2,903 58,900 2.800
Do you think starting w/ 43.0 gr of TAC as a starting load be okay? Was also wondering how one might compare load data i.e. can you look at the pressures and velocities of certain powders and weights and kinda use this as a guide? for e.g. comparing the TAC to Varget or BLC(2) for similar ranges in vel. & pressure as a gauge?
