anyone know wher i can get surplus 7.62x54 ammo for my mosin nagant??/ everywher ive tried here has it sometimes and sometimes they dont. but when they do they totally screw me on the price so does anyone know wher i can order this ammo in bulk for reletively cheap prices online?

I use them for most of my ammo, never had a problem, and shipping is the cheapest. Oh, and you don't have to send them proof of ID either.

Wolf makes a 7.62x54R 148gr round that is non-corrosive and the case is brass with no lacquer coating. The bullet is a copper FMJ. Priced at $4.95 box/20 at Outdoor Marksman. They have Czech milsurp for $2.95 /20

Go to militaryshooters.com. They've got a really great deal on 3 cans of Albanian for about 115 bucks altogether, & shipping is included in the price.

IMO that Albanian can be hit or miss on quality. Russian, Romanian, Czech and Hungarian have all been decent but all are corrosive until you can prove its not. I also have some Egyptian that was of decent quality. Aimsurplus is a great company to deal with. I've purchased a 1/2 dozen rifles and about that many cases of ammo from them.

Where can I get non Czech stuff, just for some variety? How is that Hungarian Yellow-tip ball anyway? It's 174 grain "heavy" ball.
