saw some boxes of hornady, but then dont see it on their site. i want an arisaka but want to make sure theyll be ammo. did hornady stop making it and this is the last boxes the store has? or is it just not advertised online?

stuffs too expensive to pay for S&H too, ill just buy the cabelas stuff

I've shot that Precision Cartridge ammo from Grafs before. It's pretty good stuff. I didn't have enough to do extensive accuracy testing because I wanted to shoot several different rifles. As the cheapest of any 7.7 out there, I'll gladly buy more of it sometime. And do the accuracy testing in each rifle.

If you handload, the 7.7X58 is easy to form brass from 30-06. Some 7.7 chambers were somewhat large and would swell the case body when fired, check the dimensions of a fired 7.7 case against that of a fired 30-06 case and see if your 7.7 chamber is larger. My 7.7 is tight and 30-06 cases work well with long life and good performance. To form cases, I lube and size 30-06 in Lee 7.7 die and trim back using Lee case trimmer setup and proceed as I would with any other bottleneck rifle case.

i dont reload, will eventually. ill just keep the 7.7 brass i use. i heard its same bore as lee nefieldsm and you can use ..303 bullets in 7.7 brass with good accuracy

^^^ Yes the 7.7 and 303 bullets are the same. They range in diamiter from .3105 to .313. If you do get into reloading you may need to find out what the bore size of your bbl is to ensure you're shooting the correct size bullet for max accuaracy.Click Here for example.
