When I bought a 99, I couldnt find ammo for quite awhile, so a friend loaded my powder and bullets into some Norma 7.7x58 cases he sold me.
They were 43 grains Varget with Finn D 166 200 grn bullets, .310. i only had 40 but they were considerably tighter grouping than the PPU I have found a bit of.
Mine is a "0" series Noyaga, good stock with original finish, all matching, staked screws, rear sight aircraft leads, cleaning rod. No sling, no dust cover, no monopod.
I found a bayonett to hang on it while it hangs on the wall, and it actually balances the rifle very nicely. A repo sling and ammo pouch, cleaning kit rounds out my 'kit'.
My grandson Sabastian claims it as his.
