7 shot L frame 9mm?

I was just thinking to myself that a 7/8 shot 9mm on a L frame would be a great gun, not only for packing but for ICORE as well. What do you all think of the idea?

Easily doable. If they can do it in .357 Magnum they could do it in 9mm.

I'd be heavy, though, for the amount of power you'd get. Best bet would be one of those ultralight scandium frames with a titanium cylinder and a 4" barrel. It'd weigh like 24 ounces. Be cool if they bored the cylinder out to allow use of 9x21 and 9x23 also.

There is a guy in San Diego that has done it. In fact he is the toolmaker that recessed my 686+. We have discussed it but did not think that there was much interest.
