74 Year Old Shoots Intruder

A 74 year old can do things a 24, 34, 44, 54 year old can't. I don't know what the magic age is but there probably is one where even the nastiest DA is not going to pursue a charge. He should not shot the intruder after he left the house but in the heat of the moment I can't say I wouldn't have done the same.

Locking up an honest hard working retired war veteran who was attacked in his own home serves no purpose.

If my understanding of Georgia Code 16-3-23 is correct then his second shot while inside the house would be legal here in Georgia.

If my understanding is mistaken, let me know.

All the wrong things to say

While I support what the old guy did , I think for anyone not a senior citizen this is a perfect example of what not to say to the police and media .

I caught this on the nightly news when it happened and apparently he made the statement that he wasn't afraid at all .

If you were in your mid 30's and ran your mouth as much as this guy did in Antigun ILL "especialy in the Chicago area" you would probably wind up in jail for the rest of your life or a large portion thereof .

Can't be going around shooting the scumbags in ILL if you did how would all the States Democrats get elected ?
