Funny this is on discussion right now. On Wed.(8/19) the local news was talking about a man posing as a codes inspector in the Nashville area. Now that its been on the news...he will likely quit for a while. Always happens. It starts...its on the news...it goes away. Do they ever really catch these guys?

Last year I spotted a gut heading down my drive. I'm on the back porch as he rounds the corner. Kind of surprised him. He was supposed to be there...electric service meter man. He never saw the pistol. :D

Funny. I ran a word search for 'tungsten' at http://everything2.com/index.pl?node_id=981503 and got no hits at all.

Using a general search engine, the only thing I saw that came up mentioning tungsten in shotgun slugs was an offering by my all-time absolute favorite exploding pants ammuntion suppliers, EXTREME SHOCK!!!!!. And of course, it's their proprietary blend of unobtanium called Tungsten Nytrilium. ( http://www.thegunsource.com/item/78066_Extreme_Shock_Ammunition_EXTSHOCK_12GACTJ05_12_GA_.aspx )

Since this one seems to have followed the unfortunate path of most home invasion discussions, I think we're done with it now. Y'all feel free to try again whenever you want,

(And if you don't know what I mean by 'exploding pants,' see http://www.extremeshockusa.com/ . And no, in fact I do not take them seriously at all. YMMV of course, it's your $$$.)
