75 gr Hornady A-Max

What would be a suitable OAL for a .223 loaded with this bullet in an AR?

The thing is, my Lyman manual lists 2.39 as the OAL, and the max I can go and still fit them in an AR mag is 2.26.

How much of an effect on pressure would it have with a 0.13 reduction in OAL? A little? A lot?

I'd be developing loads at the suggested starting level with 3 different powders. Varget. H-335. IMR4895. Federal SR match primers.

I have other manuals to use as cross references, but none list the 75gr A-Max.

Nevermind. Called Hornady. Seems 2.39 is the number and that you load the rounds 1 at a time for slow fire.
