Ok. I've done some homework on this issue and am hoping somebody can either educate me a bit more or perhaps let me know that it in fact IS ok to try to drive this square peg into the round hole.
I have some Hybrid 100V powder I was hoping to use on 7mm-08. I've got some data for larger bullets, 160 gr Speer, 154 gr Hornady 174 gr Nosler etc. I was hoping to experiment more in the 140gr range and while I'm not finding anywhere that says Hybrid 100V is a "bad" idea I'm not finding any data either.
Further confusing me is that my understanding is that Hybrid 100V is relatively similar in characteristics to H4350. I see it listed very close on burn rate charts etc. And whalla…. here's H4350 topping or nearly topping the charts on 130-140 gr load data about everywhere I seem to look. So why would this not be a good idea? Or at least an "OK" idea?
I'd appreciate some feedback if anybody has any. Otherwise its Speer 160gr bullets for me for awhile.
