Okay, friends, i just want to say thanks to all of you who, in one way or another, shared information on guns. I learned a lot on this forum, and i hope that my own website is, and will be useful to at least some of you.

I want to say special thanks to the staff of the THR, especially to Oleg Volk.

PS: and of cause, there's a little bit of self-advertising included ;)

Congratulations, Max, and keep up the good work. Your site is my first destination whenever I have a technical or historical question about a gun, and sometimes when I just want to browse around and find out about firearms I wasn't previously aware of. I strongly recommend it to fellow THR members who haven't checked it out yet.

Many firearm websites will only tell you caliber, overall length, etc. Max's site, in addition to the basics, usually will also tell you the operating system, how it works if it is unconventional, what other weapons influenced its design, who invented it, when it was introduced, what variants and copies exist, and how successful the design was.

Thanks again for maintaining the best technical firearms site on the internet!

Thanks, Max!

BTW, I don't mind your self-advertising because your posts contribute information to this forum and sometimes you show us some neat-o stuff that most in this country will never see first-hand.
