tingling all over after that for sure...if you notice... he takes a nap near the end.. the other guy wakes him up with a tap on the shoulder....:D

I guess it would have really been boring if they had had youtube in 1917 when Mr Browning sat down behind his machine gun prototype and held back the trigger for 46 minutes. He wanted to shoot for an hour but they only had 23,000 rounds of ammo belted up. That was after a 20,000 round burst the day before on another gun.

My memories from the infantry just haunted me. The M60 isn't the most reliable machine gun made.

Is the 60 a spin off of the MG-42?

It's an unholy amalgamation of a bunch of machine guns, including the mg42.

Who the heck puts a bipod on a SWAPPABLE barrel?!

Why does the safety work the OPPOSITE of the AR series?

1 minute 45 seconds = 105 seconds.
850/105=8.09
8.09x60=485

I thought the cyclic rate of the M-60 was closer to 550-600 rounds per minute.

Why did they slow it down?

With the M240 close to 200 rpm faster, and increased reliability what is the point of an improved, slower M-60??
