One, notice the two, nice piles - one, brass; the other, the belt pieces. All "green" lovers note: automatic proper separation of metals for recycling.

I guess it would have really been boring if they had had youtube in 1917 when Mr Browning sat down behind his machine gun prototype and held back the trigger for 46 minutes. He wanted to shoot for an hour but they only had 23,000 rounds of ammo belted up. That was after a 20,000 round burst the day before on another gun.
I agree. I fail to see why it matters at all, I have a busted watch that's right twice a day. 850 rounds isn't a miracle for any machine gun BESIDES an M-60.
