I was wondering if you could make a 3in chamber a 3 1/2 chamber by changing the breech bolt assembly. and what is the difference between a 870express barrel and a 870exp supermag barrel and if there is a difference would a 870exp supermag barrel shoot 2 3/4 - 3 inch shells different than a regular 870exp barrel?

Nope, won't work. Stick to using the length shells your gun is chambered for, or shorter. Going the other way is a bad idea.

Nope, won't work. You're not missing much. I've managed to survive darn near a half century of shotgunning without firing one single 3.5" shell and not noticed the lack of fun food or effect....
