Hello all,
I was cleaning my 20 Gauge 870 Express that I purchased new last June, and in the process I noticed that it has an ejector, but there is no ejector spring to speak of. So my question's are is it missing or is the ejector specific to the express model. The parts diagram in the manual shows both parts with a front rivet and a rear rivet. The gun functions fine, I have had none of the failure to eject, or rust issues that I have read so much about.
Thanks in advance!

20 gauge 870's do not have the ejector spring that's installed in 12 gauge 870's to help kick the heavier shell out if the action is worked too slowly.

You're ok and so is your Remington. :)
