870 Police Magnum Field Barrel

I have an 870 Police Magnum with an 18.5" barrel. I want to add a field barrel for hunting/skeet use. I would like to get a Remington 28" barrel that uses RemChokes. The only kicker is the only one I see available uses the 870 Express finish instead of the parkarized finish of my gun. Does anyone know if Remington sells this barrel parkarized? Does anyone make one for an 870 already parkarized?

Make that two of us. I have an 870P and would love to find a 28 inch barrel for it.

I don't think there are any parkerized barrels other than the short ones. One of my 870Ps has an 18.5" Express barrel that I got a couldn't-say-no deal on from Hans Vang. The finish is a little different, but it's not really objectionable. I don't think it would bother you, but obviously YMMV.

You could have a regular barrel parkerized, of course. It shouldn't be that expensive -- there's no polishing or expensive handwork involved.
