870 Police Satisfaction!!!

I guess Remington tries to sell these to LEO distributors only. Took a bit of research and looking, but found what I was looking for. A plain Jane 870 Police with 18" bbl, rifle sights and no extension. Wanted wood but nobody carries it, so I had to settle on synthetic stocks. I guess Remington tries to sell these to LEO distributors only.

Really? I have one of these as well, and I see them in just about every gun shop I enter. Great shotgun by the way. I'm sure you will love it.

Remington sells Police guns only THROUGH law enforcement distributors.

The distributors are quite free to sell to standard FFL dealers, and Remington encourages this. They're quite happy to see "civilians" buying Police guns.

Nice purchase. That is my favorite HD shotgun. It took me a while to find one. However, I was able to get it in wood. In case anyone else is interested, Lew Horton and Ellet Brothers usually have them.

Yep, the 870 is just about the ultimate shotgun. Inexpensive, built like a tank, lasts forever, will do about anything you want to do with it, what's not to like?
