I let a friend use my old wingmaster for a round of skeet last week. This week he shows up with a new one. Said he just had to have it after shooting one. Then we noticed that his shucks the hull out some distance compared to my old one. Mine drops the hulls almost at your feet. Never jams, just drops it really close. Makes it easy to pick up the hulls but I wonder if after 30+ years of shuckin' shells, some part is getting to the point where it should be replaced? So far, everything is original.:D

Much depends on how hard you operate the action.

Causes of weak ejection are:
Worn extractor.
Worn ejector.
Weak extractor spring.
Dirty/gummed up extractor, plunger and spring assembly......clean the tunnel in the bolt.
