I orderd a new 18" barrel for one of my 870's and it is very hard to chamber a shell. i have found the problem and it is the opening of the chamber is very sharp and the hull is getting shaved by this. I can chamber and eject a shell without firing it and you can see small bits of plastic and the the hull has rough places on it.
Now heres the question can I take some fine emery cloth or a smooth trigger wetstone around the opening to dull it up, has anyone done this?
