8mm Mauser ballistics/details?

Any of you Mauser guys know of a site that has details on 8mm ammo?

7.62x54r.net has a great section on ammo for the Mosin Nagants, but I haven't come across anything similar for the 8mm Mauser.

I just bought a case of 8mm from CTD and it showed up today. I am planning on hitting the range tomorrow to try it out, but would love to know something about the ammo - at least more than just the bullet weight (196 gr).

Actually the Mosin Nagant cartridge (not the pistol one) is very similar to the 8mm mauser.

All I know logistically is that I wouldn't want to get hit by either
