I asked if the 9*23mm winchester would work in the cz52 chambered in 9mm largo,but I can't
find it anywhere.
Also I thank those who answered my thread regarding the MAB15.

The brass will fit, but the 9x23 Winchester is loaded to a much higher pressure. Your pistol may not handle the increased pressure.

If you're handloading, then you can load to 9mm Largo levels in 9x23 Winchester brass, but remember that the 9x23 brass is much thicker than 9mm Largo brass, resulting in less volume inside the case.

Starline makes 9mm Largo brass, with is less expensive than 9x23 brass.

Hope this helps.

Let me second that. Just buy the correct brass from Starline. Winchester 9x23 is very expensive brass to get!

I would approach the problem with Quickload and then start up with lead bullets until I got reasonable velocities and the action working smoothly with appropriate powder.

Good luck.

I've used 9x23 win. cases loaded to 9mm Largo specs many times. Works very well.

As far as the cost of cases, all depends where you buy it or where you find it as to whether its expensive or not.

9mm Largo cartridges headspace on the case mouth. Therefore a shorter case in not held in the proper location expect by the extractor. Not a good thing for the extractor.

Yes, but 9x19 barrels are easy to come by for the CZ52. Get a 9x19 barrel, and load it long assuming the throat can accommodate.

CZ52 would be near the bottom of my list of pistols I'd want to hotrod.
