Hey I'm considering buying some of these 9mm 124 Gr. RMR Hardcore Match Flat Nose Plated or Round Nose Plated for my CCW Springfield Xd 9 and getting some more practice in. I could use some help with some load data for Bullseye or Red dot it would be much appreciated =).

Any reloading manual will give you the load data.

The seating OAL will have to be determined by you, using the barrel out of your gun as a gage to see if it is seated too long, and gets into the rifling.

In other words, do the 'plunk test' with the load in your barrel until the load drops in 'plunk', all the way.

And drops back out when you turn the barrel chamber down.

BTW: it also has to fit in the mag, and do the 4-F test.

Feed, Fire, & Function, Freely.

Yes Ty I already do these specially the plunk and chambering I haven't bought them yet so I can't give a exact OAL yet but i'm sure it will be different from normal tmj and fmj seeing as they are extra plated I was thinking about starting my load 4.0 bullseye which would match some TMJ RN 124gr data I found

I reference 2004 Alliant load data and Lyman #49 for 124 gr FMJ and lead/plated RN bullets - http://www.thehighroad.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=182147&d=1364769070

You may want to consider starting at 3.5 gr with Bullseye and 124 gr plated bullets. I tested 3.5/3.8 gr with Berry's 124 gr HBRN-TP on this thread using 1.135" OAL/COL - http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?p=7266869#post7266869

As to Red Dot and 9mm, I found max case fill for 9mm and with typical 124 gr plated RN at 1.135" to be around 4.0-4.3 gr before I start compressing powder charges. BTW, I use "around" 4.0 gr Red Dot/Promo with 124 gr plated RN as Red Dot/Promo meters with .2+ gr variance for me. ;)

I usually use 1.135" OAL with 124 gr plated RN for better neck tension but will determine if bullet seating depth will compress the powder charge and load longer. Here's the bullet seating depth/max case fill determination I did with RMR HM 124 gr RN and WST/BE-86 and ended up using 1.160" - http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?p=9655361#post9655361

I have used Red Dot in 9mm also, with a 124 grain Xtreme plated RN bullet, over 3.8 grains of Red Dot. Good range load for target practice.

I also use 3.8 grains of Red Dot with MBC Small Ball and 125 MBC TC. I haven't chronoed either load but they are nice shooting loads in my M&P 9 and my PT 111 Gen 2.I use 4 to 4.2 with plated or FMJ with good results.YMMV.:)

If anyone is using these to load .357 sig please let me know what data you are using. I don't load for it and I get questions from a lot of .357 sig guys on the flat nose stuff.

Jake, I am loading your 124gr HMPFN bullets in 357sig and has settled on a 1.140" COL using range brass. Currently I am working up loads using Unique, Longshot and Power Pistol with Lyman 49th as my load data source. I use the 125gr JHP data, and decided on Lyman 49th because the starting loads were less than Alliant or Hodgdon load data. Starting with Lyman 49th data gave me a wide range to increase my charge if needed before reaching the max or even midpoint in Hodgdon and Alliant data.

Thanks, and if you are a guy that shoots for accuracy please feel free to give us an honest review of what you think about them.

Any reloading manual will give you the load data for cast 124 OR 125 grain bullets. You do not need data for a specific manufacturer's bullet. Load for the weight. And a few grains either way won't matter.
3.5 to 4.8 of Bullseye for a cast 121 to 125.
