I own a 9mm Norinco Tokarev. I've done some research and it states the only difference between the various 9mm rounds are the same except some are hotter than others.

My question is, out of all of these rounds are there any I shouldn't shoot through the pistol and my Hi-Point 9mm carbine. Thanks!

As for power levels?

The 9mm Luger is loaded in standard pressure, +P pressure, and +P+ pressure.

The Hi-Point and Chinese Tok should handle all standard pressure loads, and a limited diet of +P.

I would avoid anything rated as +P+.

RCMODEL,
Thanks for the info. I have a substantial ammo stash of 9mm. Since I don't shoot much at all, I need to go through my 9mm and see exactly what I have. I purchased the Hi-Point several years after my Tokarev, my logic was to keep as many of my weapons in the same caliber ammo. After checking it looks like 95+% of my 9mm ammo stash is Luger. Most of it is Brown Bear but I have some Sellier & Bellot ammo mixed in so that gives me 1500 rounds stashed away. So both weapons should accept it.
