yep...went and got a gunsmith who did some work for me to fax me the 9mm data while i wait to get a book of my own. The data is hardly enlightening...and is barely enough to safely work out some loads for all the projectiles etc i mentioned previously, so now offence but to all those who praise it as a bible for lead loads...it isnt......it did have 120 and 147g loads those so I can safely arrive at starting points....this is why I was asking for people's actual experience...the books just dont have the data!

In case anyone is interested Ive heard back from alliant:

Here are some suggestions:

115 lead Bullseye 4 grs, Unique 4.5 grs, Power Pistol 5 grs
124 gr lead Bullseye 3.8 grs, Unique 4.3 grs, Power Pistol 5 grs
135 gr no data
147 gr lead Bullseye 3.3 grs, Unique 3.5 grs, Power Pistol 4.3 grs

In all instances, reload just a few to begin with to be sure they will
cycle the action of your pistol before reloading a quantity. Thanks for
your note.

Greetings,

Ben is a great guy. He always answered to me quite fast.

Thank you

Folks, I have never loaded for 9mm before. I have loaded for years, but never 9mm. Today I loaded up a load of 4.3 grains of Unique underneath some 125 grain LRN to an avg. length of 1.158 inches. Anyone loaded up a similar load, and does this sound good for a soft target load?

well, if you read above its what Alliant recommended. I havent had a chance to test my loads yet...been raining for a week here.

I With my 125gr cast ww bullets, 4.0gr w231, 1.10". Very accurate, no leading issues. I have shot about 500rds with a CZ P07 and am happy with results.
