What is the best option for 9mm JHP ammo when it comes to expansion/permenant wound channel/stopping power - 124gr +p+ or 147gr subsonic?

Every major manufactuer makes a 115gr jhp load, usually some in +P or +P+. They don't seem to be as popular now as they once where, but they're certainly not a rarity. What JHP rounds are only 115 grain? Never seen any myself.
Why do you want a 147 subsonic? Why not a supersonic 147 like the SXT rangers?
I thought the +P+ was 127gr?
I just learned that the pistol I am buying states in the manual to NOT fire +P+ ammo through it... so I guess +P+ is out for me - but I am open to suggestions!
I use hornaday xtp's all mine
115 grain +P. 1330 fps from a 4.5" Ruger barrel. About 440 ft lbs. 1260 fps/410 ft lbs from a 3" Kel Tec P11.
