I recently read that the subsonic 147gr jhp in 9mm has been a disapointment within the law enforcement community for it's lack of stopping power, and that most were going to 115gr or 124gr +p rounds. I carry Hornady TAP 147gr jhp in my Beretta 9000 for ccw. Anybody else heard of this problem?

This was a problem round in the 1980's and 1990's. The manufacturers have reworked them and now they are the top dogs in 9mm sales.

I move lots of the 147gr Ranger RA9T and the 127+P+ RA9TA. I just checked my weekend sales. The RA9T sold on a 3 to one with the 115+p+,124+p, and 127+p+ rounds.
