Hi Guys,

so I tried my first 200 9mm loads and they sucked...95%+ did not eject

I am using 124gr round nose bullets, with 5.8gr of HS-6

the brass kept getting stuck in the ejection port, to me it looks like the slide was not cycling back far enough..

5.8grs was the lowest starting point..should I now up the powder charge to stop this problem? how much should I up it by?

Thanks

Hodgdon data for the 125gr Jacketed bullet starts with 6.4gr and maxes out at 6.8gr. Their data for 125gr lead bullets starts at 5.9gr and maxes out at 6.6gr.
According to Hodgdon you are well below "Start" loads.

Load too light. Not enough slide speed. Up the charge two or three tenths and try it again.

I load HS6 w/ jackets bullets and it seems to me that it performs best toward the upper range of the listed data. If you're looking for a light recoil range load, you may want to try a faster powder.

Anytime I have a failure to eject when working up loads, I check to make sure there is not a bullet stuck in the barrel.

YEP..200 was too many ...

It took me forever to shoot them off in my 92f
