I slugged the bore of my 24/7 and it came out to .355-.3555 (caliper precision +/- .0005).
What would be the best choice for cast bullets, .356 or .357? Is oversizing .002 a good decision? what about if the bullets are on the hard side 18+ BHN? I'm looking for minimal leading and increased precision w/ my plinking rounds. I'm thinking the 124/125gr variety.

thanks

I size my 9mm bullets to .356" and get no leading and excellent accuracy in my guns. Since your barrel slugged to .355", then I would go with .356" bullets as well.

Hope this helps.

.356 will be fine, although .357 probably will as well. Are you buying, or checking what to size them to?

I'm will be buying. the place I have tagged sells either size for the same price.
thanks

I got the same results when I slugged my barrel. Sizing down to .356 gave me tighter groups, zero ledding, and heavy bullets I can use for reloading my 9mm... I really enjoy it when I can use one component for multiple applications. :) Resize down to .356.

Size matters

I recently tried both .356 and .357 with my 9mm LRN over Bullseye and experienced a difference in muzzle velocity of between 400 and 500 fps, the .357 being the faster and obviously higher pressure.
