9mm Plunk Test Failure

Yes I shoot the .356 because I have heard that Sigs prefer them over .355 but I honestly don’t know if that is true. I’m thinking of just going back to plated bullets because I didn’t have this problem when I loaded those.
I’ve tried both the .355 and while the .356 produced a smaller group size, it wasn’t significant. It may turn out that way with a ransom rest and 100 round test but the .356 had a slightly higher Vavg with the same powder charge. You could slug your barrel to see what it’s dimension is but typically lead bullets are sized at .356.
No doubt plated or jacketed load easier than coated, but they also take more powder to make PF, at least in my guns. I’m shooting about equal amounts of RMRs FPMW and Blues at the moment, trying to see if there’s a difference for me.

I actually just ordered a small batch of RMR’s to see how they do. Slightly more expensive but will be worth it if they load easier and plunk more reliably.

With many RMR jacketed bullet choices at or less than 10 cents, it's all I buy anymore. I believe they will have to increase prices soon but they will still be less expensive than everyone else.
