Thanks for all the input everyone! I'll be sure to be extra diligent with the Titegroup and I'm glad I made a 'popular' and economic choice. The price was right about $16.58 for the 1 lb of Titegroup. Dividing the 27.50 hazmat over the 8 total 'items' (5lbs of powder and 3,000 primers) makes it about $3.44 per item brings the Titegroup to $20.01 which is far less than I've paid for any pound of powder at a LGS (I've only been reloading for a year now). Does this seem 'on par' with prices others are paying?

Great glad you found something.
I was told by a vendor whose name I won't mention that primers and powder had to go in seperate boxes IE two hazmat fees. (Is this true or did the person I was talking to not have thier facts correct?)
If you don't mind my asking who did you order from?

Thanks in advance

Some places will do everything on one Hazmat and some won't. Most of the places I frequent - primarily Powder Valley - have a statement on their page that covers this.

Dudedog: as havok said different venders have different policies on this. As far as I know (my card hasn't been charged yet for confirmation) Recob's (http://www.recobstargetshop.com/) where I'm ordering from, only charges one $27.50 hazmat fee for the whole powder and primer order. Also, their home page says: "POWDER LIMITS-4-1lb OR 1-4/5lb OR 1-8lb." However, as I found out when I called, this is PER each type of powder. So you can order 4 1lb cans of powder 'ABC' and 1 8lb can of powder 'DEF' etc etc.

I could have run wild with this when I heard it but I stayed 'reasonable' (debatable term when speaking to my wife) and ordered 4lbs 9oz total. 2-1lb IMR4895 which is my current .308 powder also may be my 7.62x54r powder, 1-1lb of IMR4064 because I've heard it can be very accurate in .308, 1-1lb of the Titegroup for my 9mm and 1-9oz of trail boss for my .32S&WLong as well as trying some light loads in the rifles. 2k win LR primers and 1k win SR primer to get ready for .223. Though I have to do some research because I hear about many people using SRMagnum primers for .223.

Centurian, I believe you are the reason for my lack of IMR 4895 on my last order! I got everything in my cart, then got distracted. When I came back and tried to check out my order had gone from 4 (1lb) of 4895 to 1! You will like the 4064 in .308.

To stay on topic, Recob's only charges one Hazmat fee of $27.50 as Centurian stated. I'm not aware of any companies that actually charge a separate fee for one order.

Havok same thing happened to me Tuesday/Wednesday!!! Except it went from in stock to totally out of stock. I was ticked (had been watching LGS and online for many months) because I had waited to talk to the wife before placing the order. Told her after seeing it was back out of stock that next time I saw it in stock I was ordering it ASAP. I just happened to check back again a few hours later (about 9pm wed) and it was in stock so I ordered! Reminds me of the State Farm commercial with the old man with the fishing pole and the dollar bill "You gotta be quicker than that" lol.
