9mm upper for AR15

Was in the same boat hence my other post on the AERO ASR/ASP. I picked one up last night but probably won't get my hands on it until after Christmas. 
For around $650, it takes 9mm Glock mags. Although it isn't 100% AR. More like a cross between a Sub2000 & AR like someone else had mentioned.
There's also the LDR Carbine for under $600 that takes Glock mags. JRC also has one for around $700. Personally, I'd forego the upper build-out and get another gun for the same price as the upper build & magwell adapter.
