9mm Vs. .45

Having watched a lot of the T.V. show, "The First 48" (reality show that shows real detectives trying to solve murders within 48 hours or else they may never be solved - kinda like COPS) most of the people I've seen on that show (I'd say 85%) who died from gunshot wounds were killed by 45acp. A ringing, if somewhat disgusting, endorsement for the round.

The show also showed me just how valuable the phrase "I want a lawyer." is.

Of course, I sidestep the entire debate by carrying a .357Mag lately. Fear my REAL ULTIMATE POWER, mortals, for Elmer Keith coulda roundhouse kicked John Browning, Samuel Colt and Jeff Cooper in the shins and they'd have THANKED him for the honor.
