Ok...I am impressed....

If I wanted another caliber, this might be the one!'

As to Bar-Sto Semi drop in...they will fit it if you send them your weapon

I did that with a G35 that I got a .357sig barrel for.

For comparison I'll use the new DoubleTap .357's that are coming out against the DoubleTap 9X25's:

.357 Magnum 4"bbl
DT 125gr Gold Dot @ 1600fps
DT 158gr gold Dot @ 1400fps

9X25 6"bbl
DT 115gr Gold Dot @ 1800fps
DT 125gr Gold Dot @ 1725fps
DT 147gr Gold Dot @ 1550fps

For bullets up to 147gr, the 9X25 has a definite advantage. Once you get into heavier bulets, the tides change.

Mike,

Am I reading this right, that you are going to have .357 Mag ammo coming out? Don't have a 10mm...but do a .357 Mag. If so, sign me up! Mike

Just when I'd almost sucessfully talked myself out of building a 9x25 flamethower, McNett has to go do this. Thanks alot, buddy.:scrutiny:

:D

Tamara,
The dark side is calling!

Marshall,
We do sell stock length bbls and extended bbls, but they will have to be going into a 10mm weapon. The cartridge won't fit into a .40.

The main consideration on a conversion of a .40S&W pistol to 10mm or 9x25 is the magazine. Most .40S&W pistols have a magazine that won't accept a 10mm cartridge. I was able to get 10mm cartridges into the ParaOrdinance P16-40 mags so I bought it and got it converted to 10mm by Nowlin. I like the look and feel of the Magnum Research Baby Eagle .40S&W but the mags don't accept 10mm.... so no Baby Eagle for me.

9x25 ...

Thanks to MCNETT, the 9x25 takes the .355 HP bullet from mere wus-boy 9mm loads into a ballistic territory with serious energy numbers. :scrutiny:

Heck, now any self-respecting 9mm mavin can finally look at himself in the mirror and, with a straight face, claim to be serious about stopping power:

"Yep, this here's my 9x25 Glock. With a 115gn bullet at 1800 feet-per-second and 827 foot-pounds of energy, it can squash you like a bug ....

"Do ya feel lucky, bug? Well, do ya?"

:neener:

:D

But seriously, folks, I'll probably pick up a barrel for my G20.

Gotta love the Glock 20. I shoot 10mm and .40S&W about half and half. Not one malfunction. I was going to order a 357 SIG barrel next, but the 9X25 looks like a good outdoor (longe range) vermin load.
Hmmm... mabey both.
