Spent the majority of the afternoon out with my oldest son, and a good friend of his (I went to school with the boys mom), throwing clays, and even bustin a few. After a while we all got tired of the clays and pulled out the .22s and shot. Went through a case of clays, and better than a brick of .22's. Both boys got better with the shotty's as the afternoon progressed. I had bought my son a little Mossy 500 20ga, and his buddy was shooting his Winchester 1300 20ga. I pulled out my old Savage Sweet16 copy. I haven't shot clays in some time, but still didn't do to bad! The boys seemed to have a real good time and got better as they went.

I'm glad you got out with the guys. I went out for a while at lunch...all I could think about was going to the range! It truly was a great day!

Mark.

a brick of .22s? Y'all did some shootin' :D

no doubt... it was beautiful weather in cookeville. sadly, i had to work today

Just one of the great advantages to being a teacher, more time with one's kids! (Today we were out for one of our "Spring Breaks".)

The weather here in Crossville was great also!

think the weather was nice in TN... here in CA it was 75 and not a cloud in the sky

too bad i had to spend the day inside helping clean the house for Sunday (30 people over for easter lunch) plus the fact i only have about 3 1/2 boxes of shells and about 50 22 bullets but tomorrow i should go pick up a couple boxes

The number 50 and .22 should NEVER be together unless they are included in a sentence such as the following;

I only have a dozen cases of 50 round boxes of .22 cal.

So dude you need to get with with the program and lay in some supplies!:D

" but tomorrow i should go pick up a couple boxes"
..Not likely on Easter Sunday.!

but you DO need to get 'er done.! You are way under bulleted.!

Glad you had a good time.

I got home from work yesterday just in time to see a new, wonderful 12" snowstorm develop.
