It hasn't had a thing put on it sense it was new back in 1972 but it hasn't had much use ether but now it is getting a little stiff and really dull looking it has a front leather black and another unpolshed leather back sewed to it. I just wanted to give a detailed description of it so it is just a basic holster with bullet loops.
To the questions
Do I use shew polish on the black front or not?
What is the best to put on the inside of the belt?
What should I use inside the holster or not?

If you are talking about an old school police duty rig I used to touch mine up with Kiwi leather dye. It dries quickly and is not messy to use.
To hydrate the leather I would rub a little neats foot in..a very little.
I never put anything on the inside of my holster.

This holster who knows who made it I think my mother sent it from a visit in Mexico.
It is a holster for my Ruger Blackhawk.
Neats for the inside and the out side just needs to be shined up a little. so maybe just some Kiwi shoe polish?

A company called Viking in Mexico made lots of duty style holster. IIRC they were also imported under the "Liberty" brand.

Black Fiebing's shoe and boot cream will make it shiny again and feed the leather a little without making it soft. I used to use it on all my cowboy boots although it was a different brand back then. It was really good on the lizard ones as they have a tendency to crack if let get too dry. this was from the advise of the local boot maker/shoe repairman that knew just about everything to know about leather.

First- condition the leather. If you want to take care of leather, do this before thinking about color or improving the looks with a coat of shoe polish.

I make my own holsters and some for my buds. Neatsfoot oil is a good thing sparing however, I use snow seal water proofing on all my leather. It contains bees wax which keeps the leather pliable. I rub it on and use a hair dryer to warm it up to soak in then rub off the excess.

I guess in that outfit it would be hard to even ware a concealed carry holster and if you did how would you access it?
