Well, i have a brother who likes messing around with cartridges, seeing what kind of performance he can get out of them. He is looking for a .45 ACP single shot rifle, but CHEAP. Maybe something like a handi rifles in .45ACP, do they make them? It will be intresting to see what he can do with the cartridge.....:D

Thanks,

Neal

No they don't make them in 45ACP. Rimmed rounds work better in this style of rifle. If he wants a Handi Rifle he might look at the 357 or 44 mag chamberings for a gun shooting pistol rounds. Both will run off and leave the 45 at the starting gate.

Get one of those chamber caliber inserts. I know I have seen a 45acp insert for a 12 gauge barrel. Chamber mates or something.

Here you go, http://store.dinaarms.com/12_GA_Adapters_s/1.htm Second to last is 45acp. These appear to be only a few inches long though, I kow there is a site that sells them in the 3-4 inch range as well as around 10 - 14" or so. I will see if I can find it.

edit: Here is the company I was thinking of http://mcace.com/shotguninserts.htm Available in multiple calibers and in 2 3/4", 10" and 18" lengths.
