I can look on the CMP website, too, but I want to verify:
-Does CMP bill your CC or deposit your check upon their receipt of the order, or when the order is ready to be shipped?
-Considering the unknown quantity of guns & ammo, should I send two separate USPS Money orders, one for ammo and one for a gun? That way if they run out of the ammo, they can return the money order but still ship the gun without having to go through an administrative money paper trail?
Thanks again...

PS. I'm almost ready to think Someone doesn't want me to get a Garand. I finally got the green light from the Boss, but then we found out yesterday that the payroll department at her school screwed up. She was out of days and had to take 4 extra days off when our daughter was hospitalized for a week. The district's rule is if you use more than your allotted days, your paycheck is deducted the day's pay. The payroll office promised that they would spread the 4 days lost time out over the next 6 checks - about a $150 /check. Instead, the lady hit us for all 4 days on this check - a loss of $800. Operation Garand has again been sabatoged. :banghead::banghead:
