CZ 2075 RAMI P

CZ 2075 RAMI with a plastic frame.

• Weight reduction by 30g (1.0 oz) against version with frame made from light aluminium alloy • Magazine capacity in 9x19 cal. is 10 or 14 cartridges • Magazine capacity in .40 cal. is 8 or 10 cartridges • Handgun cocking made more easy due to augmented grip portion of the slide • Continuously enhanced grip when a magazine with extended capacity is used • Better handling due to ambidextrous manual safety • Number of parts reduction • Comfortable grip • Modern visual appearance

The biggest thing holding me back from a RAMI was the lack of an ambi safety(sucks to be a lefty). Now if only they would make a CZ-85 Compact in 9mm....

I feel your pain.

One gun I found that is lefty user friendly and a joy to shoot is the Bersa Mini Firestorm in .45 ACP.

I have always been interested in the Rami. Might have to pick one up in 9MM.

As far as dimensionally Ill bet the grip is slighly thinner.....other than that not much. The weight savings is not worth it to me......Ill take the alloy framed version. If it was 5 oz's.......then your talking alot.
Shoot well.........

Well, the slide looks a bit different, maybe beefed up a little more in the slide serration area? Plus, the original RAMI is an alloy frame, so it was pretty light to begin with, about like a G19 if I recall.

Number of parts reduction

Anyone know if the internals are different from the standard RAMI?

If they changed (lightened) the trigger a bit vs. the current RAMI, I might consider polymer. Ditto with any reliability enhancements.

I think rather than the weight savings the real gains will be made in softer shooting, from the polymer frame, and more comfort on the hip, from the slimmer slide. It looks like a winner to me. I'm gettin' one.

It is in the U.S.! Seen one in a local gun store. :)

Pardon me for resurrecting an old thread...but as Agrippa posted back in 2005, the Czech CZ site reports the 2075 features an ambi safety. I just double-checked, and they still list the ambi-safety...but the CZ-USA site makes it sound like the 2075 here comes with only a single-sided safety:

2075 RAMI from the CZ-USA site:

CZ 2075 RAMI P features:

* CZ 75 Quality and Reliability
* 6.5” long x 4.7” high x 1.25” wide
* 3” barrel
* Weighs less than 25 ounces
* SA/DA action
* Manual safety
* Low profile, snag-free sights
* 10+1 in 9mm, 8+1 in .40 S&W

Anyone know if the 2075s in the states are equipped/available with ambi-safeties? Why the discrepancy?

Thanks (from a southpaw)!

Yes, and in that time I've seen exactly two CZ 2075 polymer RAMI, one in .40S&W, the other in 9mm. I'm kicking myself for not getting one, but having seen only one of them (same dealer had both priced the same), had no idea if the price was good or gouge. The $495 asked seemed high at the time.

People who have purchased the RAMI P model have been very happy with them.
