Hello gentlemen,

I am very interested in purchasing a CZ RAMI BD. Unfortunately, I have not been able to locate one at a store near me. I believe in atleast handling a firearm before making a purchase to keep from buying a brick. I have handled a few CZ; all of them were ergonomically pleasing for me. I have handled the
P-01, P-06, SP-01 and the CZ-85. All of these guns fit my hand well. I was just inquiring: IF you have handled the same guns and a RAMI or, ideally, own one of said firearms and a RAMI- do the ergonomics transfer to the small framed 2075?

I had been looking at purchasing a Sig P238; I find the RAMI more attractive fo the DA/SA, decocker, increased mag capacity and chambering.

Regards,

Benjamin

Thanks for charming in armoredman; I am unfamiliar with the CZ40b. I know that you have a wealth of CZ experience. I suppose I can better restate my question. I know the CZ-83 will not have similar ergonomics to the CZ-75- it is a completely different design. Are the contours of the grip on a 2075 RAMI similar to the CZ 75?

No, the 75 has a rounder grip, with palm swells.

The RAMI's frame, barring custom grips, is flat-sided and feels more like a much scaled-down 1911. If you've actually handled the P238, I believe the feel of the grips, if not the exact control locations, is pretty close.

Well, with a similar feel in the hand, the CZ RAMI seems a no brainer. Larger chambering, 40% more round capacity, and DA/SA (which I prefer). I was planning to carry either OWB regardless.

He probably means the RAMI and P238 are alike.

After seeing the RAMI and 75B on the shelf next to each other (and having a 75 D Compact with me), the grips are nothing alike between the two CZ's.

The grip panels of the 75 mold into your palm, and the RAMI, while comfortable, seems to have those stock grip panels only to keep stuff out of the magazine channel. They're flat rubber panels; nearly nonexistant.
