I finally got a little extra time and took my new to me Wiley Clapp GP100 out to my local range. Most of the shooting was offhand at ranges of 15-25 yards, both double and single action. Man does this thing run! It is an absolute joy to shoot. I fed it everything from 900 fps plinking handloads up to 1400+ fps barn burners. Most loads were 158 gr. plus one 180 gr factory load. I ended up putting 95 rounds down the tube. I can't wait to shoot this thing again. The only issue I had was the revolver shot consistently low. Anywhere from 3-5 inches. Windage was spot on though. So I called Ruger up, and I've got a new front sight blade on the way that is 2 one hundredths shorter. I'm hoping that will bring it pretty close to POA/POI. Overall I couldn't be happier with this GP. I just can't believe it took me so long to get one! I can't help but want to show it off so I'm including a few pictures. Time to start shopping for some leather.
