A lot of you are probably familiar with youtube sensation Hickok45. I stumbled across this video and had to bring it to the highroad. In it he actually dribbles a basketball, while shooting (in a safe manner), including the 80 yard gong. This guy is something else.

It does make me think that maybe I should try some odd, yet safe, ways to make my range practice more challenging.

One thing I like to do... is have magazines with various amounts of ammo in them so slide lock comes as a surprise. Combine this with shooting drills such as multiple targets in tactical sequence and you get pretty good at reloads on the fly.

interesting--multi-tasking. demonstrates to me at least, that when ones abilities are honestly second nature that you may be capable of some juggling. it reminds me of when i was younger and delivered to customers items from my car or van. i would think through how i was gonna carry it as what if i was 'approached'. how can i reach my guns? how can i drop it so as to minimize damage to it or to use it as a distraction--or a weapon.

practice variations on any way you think a situation may develop and keep mixing and adding. the fight may not go down as you project it to happen, but their will be elements of it that reflect from your practice sessions.

Hickok sure seems to enjoy his practice

Thanks for the link Justin, I'm going to put some of that stuff to use for sure.

That he does. Maybe a little too much. :D
