If they are just assembling some else's components, I could care less. Must be hundreds ammunition company's came and went the last few decades.

If they are actually going manufacture ammunition including their own primers and cases than it would be news worthy.

Gee, who stepped on your foot today?

Still signed up and still excited for free stuff if I won, but at first I thought you would get 100 boxes of ammo, not 100 people getting 1 box of ammo.

Yea, its 100 people winning 1 box. But everyone gets coupons! :D

I don't care about the promotion, the more ammo hitting the market the better.

FYI, there are only 3 companies in the WORLD that make primers.

This is 2010, very few manufacture the entire product (see auto industry for example) as typically most companies are good at one particular thing. The process of making projectiles, the powder, the casing, etc are entirely different.

What is rare to see (if any) is a company that is using "all" USA made components. Good for them, this will be exciting and I for one will give them a go and if quality and decent priced, it could end up being my main brand.

GO USA !

I could be wrong, but help me out. Who are the companies that make primers?

okay so you think that the only ones are CCI, Remington, and Winchester?

What about Magtech? Wolf? Barnaul? PMC? PMP? And about 20 more in europe and Asia.

Well here's hoping they're decently priced! if nothing else the huge influx will hopefully push other prices down also ;) I wonder what all calibers they will be selling? Their site isn't very informative... Unless its just the 5-6 ones they mention in the giveaway. Hope its more though

To parahprase the British queen: You can never be too rich, nor too thin, nor have too many guns nor too much ammo. If this provides us all with an opportunity to restock, bravo -- welcome aboard. :)

AZ made ammo is now exempt from federal taxes, only in AZ though. We'll see what happens with the feds coming in to stop this, but for now law says in AZ it's cheaper to buy.

More companies will open here for ammo IMO, but the part of the bill for full auto weapons will be harder to attract companies to suit as the feds have a history of stopping it immediately in other states with these measures. Only one I can think of with the facility and ability is Ruger up in Prescott.
