My wife and I had to stop by the court house to drop off some papers and since they have a metal detector there I had to empty out my pockets. One of my items is a very small pocket knife, a little Boker that is really more like a pen knife it is so small. The security guard hands it back to me after I walk through the detector with a wink and the admonition "to never take this knife to a gun fight as I am sure to lose." As he is telling me this he pulls back his sport coat to reveal the gun that he is carrying. Just thought it was kind of an amusing incident and use of that old adage.
